Elan Valley Dam Open Day

The Elan Valley Rangers offer ‘Big Dam Open Days’ throughout the year – giving you the chance to explore the Elan Valley and walk through Pen-Y-Garreg dam into the central tower!

During the walk you will have an insight into the engineering of the Elan Valley Dams and get a birds eye view of the Elan.

There are steps inside the dam which may be wet in some areas and the lighting is not exceptional – but you wouldn’t expect nothing less.
