Enduro in Wales

Fancy coming to Rhayader to do some enduro? Rhayader’s combination of challenging terrain, well-organized events, and a supportive community makes it a premier destination for enduro riding in the UK.

Rhayader Motor Club is a prominent organisation in the area, hosting various enduro events throughout the year, including the popular Simon Rees Memorial Hare and Hounds, Jack Frost Enduro, and the Rhayader Two Day Enduro, which attract riders from all over the UK and beyond.

Known as the Outdoors Capital of Wales, Rhayader achieved a motorsport pinnacle when the 2024 EnduroGP of Wales took place from August 2-4 at Cwmythig Hill and SaintsWell in Mid Wales. This event marked the return of the FIM EnduroGP World Championship to the UK for the first time in seven years. The competition featured three days of intense off-road racing, attracting top enduro riders from around the world. Feedback from some of the best riders and organizers was that Wales is the home of Enduro, and this was the best enduro event they had attended on the EnduroGP circuit.

Enduro in Rhayader is not just about the sport; it’s also a significant part of the local culture. Events often bring together the community, with locals and visitors alike enjoying the excitement. The camaraderie among riders and the support from the local community make Rhayader a welcoming destination for enduro enthusiasts.
