Mid Wales Holiday Lets Coronavirus Travel Policy *UPDATE*

New rule of 6.

Please note the guidance published on 13 July 2020 and booking policy still stand and this is an addition COVID-19 Travel Policy.

Welsh Government has changed its COVID-19 policy as of today stating that ‘as of 14 September, meetings or gatherings indoors even within your extended household must be limited to 6 people (not including any children aged under 11)’. This means that any bookings will have to adhere to this.

This doesn’t mean that if more than 6 are due to come we cannot accommodate you still, as we have the ability to set the property up as room only (like a hotel) as each room has its own en-suite and can be self-contained. This would mean that Glandwr house would still be the perfect base if you are planning to eat out and congregate as a group outside the property. We also have a marquee at the rear of the property where you can congregate, adhering to social distancing as it has been in recent months.

There may be scope to book another apartment to spread the number of people over 2, 3 or 4 properties (dependent on availability), and we would offer these at a nightly rate with a 25% discount.

Unfortunately bookings since March 23 2020 (confirmation of lockdown) were made knowing the risks of the COVID-19 pandemic, where our booking policy was clear that we would be unable to offer a refund for COVID-19 related cancellations.

What we are able to do is offer a date change between January and March 2021 (excluding 22-31 December 2020) at no extra cost to the original booking. But this must be requested within 4 weeks of your booking to give us the best possible chance to open the dates for re-booking. This excludes bookings between 14 September and 11 October where you have until 20 September to notify us of the date change.
